COMING ATTRACTIONS — Falling Down Beer Company isn't the only brewer heading for Oxford. A company, HomeGrown Brewingplans to open in the Veterans Memorial Civic Center in 2016 craft beer and food. [Detroit News]

ANN ARBOR — Sweet Lorraine's is plotting a downtown Ann Arbor restaurant. CEO Gary Sussman says he has signed a letter of intent to sign a lease and anticipates the location will open in early 2016. The restaurant previously operated a location in A2 for seven years but had to close due to family health issues. [MLive]

BRUNCHWIRE — Atwater in the Park is throwing its hat into the weekend hangover food ring with Sunday brunch. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekly check out the bloody mary bar and entrees like corned beef hash, buttermilk pancakes, and pressed breakfast burritos.

OUT OF TOWN — One week after their trip down Detroit memory lane, celeb chefs Max and Eli Sussman have imported Coneys to Brooklyn. The brothers launched Ed & Bev's Coney Island this week inside Crown Heights beer hall Berg'n. "We'll be able to showcase a little bit of what people are doing in Detroit, at our counter," Eli says.
