French-inspired breakfast restaurant Le Petit Dejeuner has temporarily shuttered. The restaurant confirmed the closure to fans in a post this morning to Facebook citing "unexpected issues with the location." On Sunday, several people on social media commented that the new restaurant appeared to have closed and one individual on Yelp noted that the building on Brush Street was locked up with a "For Sale" sign standing in the doorway.

We are temporarily closed due to unexpected issues with the location. We will reopen soon. Sorry for any inconvenience...

The eatery opened in mid-May offering family-style sharable plates. Restaurant critic Sylvia Rector praised Le Petit’s creamy corn pancakes. While diners often remarked that restaurant seating was extremely limited, Le Petit maintained high marks for its food with 4 stars on Yelp and 4.8 stars on Facebook. Eater reached out to Le Petit Dejeuner’s owners for further details and received a brief response stating that the owners are consulting with an attorney, insisting that the closure "is only temporary." Stay tuned for further details.
