Revamped restaurant The Block (formerly The Grille Midtown) soft opened on Saturday just in time for hordes of Dally in the Alley diners to drop by. The 80-seat restaurant hosts its official grand opening today with a new look, menu, and hours catering towards the students and young professionals living and working the Midtown neighborhood.
While a finalized menu isn't available at this time, Eater got a sneak peek of some of the dishes on Friday including grilled and fried chicken wings in flavors like Rock n' Rye and sesame garlic, as well as super creamy twice-baked potatoes, crab dip, kale caesar salad, and craft cocktails. The restaurant offered up a few more menu teasers on Facebook. The Block opens at 11 a.m.
It's only gon take one time to fall for our twice baked potato! Opening tonight with #DJVinDogg
