Chef Kate Williams is slowly revealing more details of her future plans. The chef, who left Republic in late May, recently let slip the name of her new project Lady of the House that's expected to open in Corktown this Spring. Today, in an interview with Serena Daniels of Metro Times, the chef shares that she in the process of signing a lease for the new concept that will be "rooted in hosting and eating and drinking together as a family."
Williams will also take her culinary talents on the road beginning in late October with a multi-city pop-up tour in partnership with Revolver's Peter Dalinowski. So far, the chef is schedule to hit New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, and Salt Lake City, although dates aren't yet available. In the meantime, Williams is set to cook at Savor Detroit next month alongside Antietam chef Brion Wong.
