Redford-based Vietnamese restaurant Pho Lucky has expanded to a third location in Southfield, owner Cong Nguyen tells Eater. The restaurant located along Telegraph Road opened a little over a week ago.
At 2,300-square-foot, Pho Lucky Southfield is significantly larger than the original restaurant, seating up to 90 people. "We have lots of clientele that drive all the way to Redford," Nguyen says. "[The original location] is full all the time, so people were asking us to move out to Southfield." Nguyen, who also owns a restaurant in Novi, notes the expansion felt like a win-win situation. The previous building tenant was struggling with the lease and "we help them out by taking over the lease."

This isn't the last restaurant for Pho Lucky, which debuted almost exactly three years ago. The owner says another Detroit-area location is in the works this year, although he isn’t ready to provide specifics until the lease is finalized. In the meantime, check out the Southfield menu below:
