ROYAL OAK — Tapas restaurant La Dulce is finally nearing an official opening, co-owner Luis Negrete-Escobedo tells Eater. The restaurant faced several delays over the summer. However, the it's expected to received final inspections within the next two days. [EaterWire]

CLAWSON — Woodpile BBQ Shack is showing the marks of progress including new slatted awnings and plenty of plywood. The former A&W is receiving a complete rustic revamp and with the aim of opening this fall. [EaterWire]

HAZEL PARK — Cellarmen's is still on pace for a September debut. The team of brewers plans to can and distribute mead and cider, while offering an additional selection of beer in-house. The tap room will seat between 60 and 80 guests when it's complete. While Cellarman's doesn't have a kitchen, the brewery plans to host food trucks and, of course, customers can bring in food.
