After a few delays, Pie-Sci is prepping to go full-steam-ahead with the planned brick-and-mortar Woodbridge pizzeria. Partners Jeremy Damaske and AJ Manoulian announced via social media they plan to stop the weekly events in August in order to refocus their attention on getting the official location customer-ready. The proposed restaurant space located on the south side of Woodbridge Pub is still awaiting a build-out due to financing issues; however, the partners have signed a 5-year lease on the building owned by Woodbridge Pub’s owner Jim Geary in February. Pie-Sci has operated a Sunday pop-up out of the neighborhood pub for four and a half years.

Last fall Damaske told Eater he hoped to see the location up-and-running by September, but the delays leave that timeline less certain. In the meantime, check out the pop-up from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Sunday now through August at Woodbridge Pub.
