Downtown Detroit diners get brand new option in Townhouse, which officially debuted Monday at the foot of One Detroit Center. This is the second location for Birmingham restaurateur Jeremy Sasson, whose original eatery boasts a wildly popular patio. Detroit and Birmingham share similarities in feel but the second location scales up significantly with open kitchens, a year-round, greenhouse-style patio, two bars, and menu with curve balls like sushi. Townhouse Detroit also stays on trend with an enormous, 300 bottle-deep whiskey selection. Photographers Michelle and Chris Gerard toured the restaurant at twilight, from the tree-filled glass patio to the raw bar and plush lounge.
