The wait is officially over for Townhouse Detroit, the bold new downtown eatery with a striking greenhouse-style dining room. Reservations are strongly recommended for the 314-seat restaurant, which swings open for lunch at 11 a.m. with the house specialty Townhouse burger, bibimbap, shrimp tacos, harissa falafel, and more.

While features of the original Birmingham patio hot spot are preserved in this new iteration, the Detroit version is much bigger with an expanded menu that includes dim sum and sushi. Townhouse Detroit is also keeping with the trend of big whiskey menus. The catalog alongside cocktails, wine, beer, and other spirits, is contained in a thick, red, Ostrich leather binder.
