DOWNTOWN — Greenhouse/dim sum/burger/whiskey bistro Townhouse started employee training last week, which means soft openings are in the works. The outdoor dining room is complete and contractors are putting finishing touches on the interior. [Instagram]

FERNDALE — Urbanrest Brewing Company revealed a logo and a $25,000 crowdfunding campaign. Money raised from the campaign will help the founders outfit a paint filter manufacturing facility-turned-brewery/restaurant with a refurbished walk-in cooler, taproom fixtures and furnishings, a reclaimed wood bar, as well as subsidizing other construction costs.
