On Wednesday, Governor Rick Snyder signed legislation legalizing booze-fueled, multi-passenger bike tours aka "pedal pubs." The legislation prohibits operators from drinking on the job as well as selling or serving alcohol to passengers. Meanwhile, riders can enjoy a wine or beer (not liquor) while pedaling to between destinations. Don't get too excited yet. Local governments will have the final say on approving the drink-toting joy rides. [MLive]
