North Corktown truck Guerrilla Food is hosting a fundraiser Thursday from noon to midnight, founder Meiko Krishok tells Eater. For more than three years now, Krishok has been serving hearty, healthful dishes once a week spring through fall from a vacant lot.
With the money from the fundraiser and a forthcoming crowdfunding campaign she hopes to repair several elements on the restaurant's Airstream trailer as well as build-out a nearby gazebo so diners have a place to sit indoors during cold or rainy weather. Tickets are $25 and include green smoothies, a cooking demonstration, a yoga class, dinner, a stencil workshop, and a farm tour.
