SPORTS — Jimmy John's snatched up the naming rights for a semi-pro baseball field in Utica. Construction workers broke ground on the 4,000-seat venue today. Jimmy John's Field is expected to open next June. [Detroit News]

BOOZE NEWS — Craft michelada? That's right. Preeminent picklers McClure's and Atwater Brewery will release "The World's First Craft Michelada" June 25 at Cheli's Chili Bar. Sold in a can, the Detroit-style michelada is a mix of German-style lager and McClure's Bloody Mary mix. This might just be the next Detroit novelty brunch beverage. [Hell Yeah Detroit]

EVENTWIRE — Classic 'burbs French restaurant The Lark is celebrating 35 years with three special dinners (June 29, June 30, and July 1). Tickets are $105 for dinner, but let's be real, you'll probably want the drinks too. The Lark is serving 35 different wines for and additional $35. [Freep]
