Mini juice cleanse empire, Drought, debuts its sixth location today in Bloomfield Hills. Drought specializes in bottled, organic cold-pressed juices and cleanse programs through retail and mail-order. Jessie James, director of retail for Drought, tells Eater the company has also just signed two new leases in downtown Detroit at 719 Griswold St. Suite 110 and Ferndale at 211 W 9 Mile. James estimates the new stores will open within the next two to three months.

Like just about everywhere in America, Metro Detroit is in the midst of a juice boom. Birmingham's Beyond Juice announce its three-location expansion in May with shops headed for Southfield, Eastern Market, and another to come.
