ANN ARBOR — As you may have heard by now, Katoi is headed to A2 this summer to feed the masses, while the Corktown location is under construction. The launch party for the summer-long pop-up restaurant is set for June 18. In the meantime, the former Jerusalem Garden building in Ann Arbor is receiving some love and a new paint job.  [Facebook/Instagram]

CORKTOWN — Bobcat Bonnie's is making progress. In an update today, owner Matt Buskard reports they've " finished the ceiling, repainted and sealed the tables, painted in (sic) reupholstered the chairs, and are full speed ahead on sanding and staining all the wood." [Facebook]

MILWAUKEE JUNCTION — On a recent trip past the soon-to-open third Bucharest, Eater spotted newly installed windows and nearly complete brickwork. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN — Grand Cirque Brasserie still has many months to make its fall opening deadline; however, a reader was able to snap shots of the interior earlier this week when the paper fell off the windows. How's the restaurant really progressing? Not much at all. [EaterWire]
