Residents on Detroit's west side will no longer have to make the trek to Detroit's 8 Mile Meijer supercenter for groceries. The company's anticipated 190,000-square-foot second store will debut June 11 on the former site of Redford High School. Last week, Crain's reported that the company may be exploring properties on the east side for a third location. [Detroit News/MLive]
