Russell Street Deli owners Jason Murphy and Ben Hall say that the expansion of food options in Eastern Market, while welcomed as a sign of growth, has posed challenges for the popular deli. The pair say they've even considered closing the location if their wholesale business and forthcoming project in Corktown's former Steak Hut Restaurant do well. Murphy tells food entrepreneurs: "We don't have a lot of room for error." Adding, "If we're not careful, we're going to make a $50,000 mistake." [Detroit Free Press]
