Bucharest's third location saw more progress this week. Brick work on the façade looks to be nearly complete with space left for windows on the wall facing Piquette. Responding to questions on their Facebook page the company states that they hope to open two more locations in 2016 and possibly a warehouse where the restaurant mini-chain can handle catering prep.
For those concerned about the fate of the iconic Dave's Drive-in's sign, representatives from the restaurant state in the comments that they plan to restore it. "The sign stays and we will use it and I want to use the same theme because it is part of Detroit Americana." The new location is expected to debut this summer.
