The Corktown Farmers Market will host its inaugural Thursday pop-up on May 14. Last week, the organization added paver bricks to the fenced in lot west of Detroit Institute of Bagels. The market coordinators plan to build sandwich boards, measure stall spaces, and make planters during a volunteer event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow. On its website, the market lists 13 vendors including Gold Cash Gold, What Up Dough, and Detroit Food Academy. The Corktown Farmers Market will run every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through October.
