Forthcoming brick-and-mortar eatery Katoi and Hamtramck chocolate shop Bon Bon Bon are taking a trip to Ann Arbor this summer. Katoi partner Courtney Henriette tells Eater the businesses will pop-up three days per week in the old Jerusalem Garden space on South Fifth Avenue, with Katoi hosting ticketed dinners on Friday and Saturday nights in addition to casual carryout service. The Thai street food restaurant is seeking servers to work at the pop-up.
Katoi's Corktown restaurant is currently under construction and is set to open later this summer. Detroiters craving chef Brad Greenhill's food can grab a taste at this Saturday's Katoi Undercover dinner or during Sundaylicious at MotorCity Wine.
Bon Bon Bon is rapidly expanding. Since opening her flagship store last summer in Hamtramck, owner Alexandra Clark has brought her bons to a retail-only shop in the Dime Building and to Zingerman's Next Door in Ann Arbor. The Katoi pop-up is expected to launch in early June with Bon Bon Bon to follow later this summer.
