Islandview's new eatery, The Bridge, officially opens to the public tonight. While earlier reports stated that chef Jerry Nottage would head the kitchens, in a follow-up interview representatives from The Bridge would not confirm the name of their executive chef. However an interview and live cooking demonstration on Fox 2 featured chef Darnell Edwards preparing lamb nachos.
The restaurant is celebrating its Grand Opening all weekend long with live music acts, food, and drink. Doors opened today for Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. While entry is free, during live music performances guests will be charged to reserve booths ($200) and tables ($75).
