Ann Arbor’s Cuban burger and milkshake joint Frita Batidos may be plotting a Detroit expansion. Over the weekend, the restaurant tested the waters on social media to see if customers might be interested in a Motor City location.

In response to many supportive comments, representatives responded that the company was "waiting until good time and feel like we might be in a good place to do that." The popular restaurant was founded by celebrity chef Eve Aronoff, who’s currently in the process of reviving her upscale eatery eve the restaurant. Eater is reaching out to Aronoff for more details.
