A new gastropub is headed for Corktown this summer. Bobcat Bonnie's will replace the former O'Blivions Corktown Café on Michigan Avenue, reports DBusiness. Matt Buskard, the general manager at Gold Cash Gold, is working with O'Blivions owners to open the new eatery. Buskard tells the magazine:

"I've always loved the idea of doing a gastropub — something that's fresh, seasonal, and as local as possible and within a good price range."

The restaurant will offer sandwiches and burgers made with in-house ground beef. Although they already reached his minimum funding to goal to open, Buskard has launched a $10,000 crowfunding campaign for additional improvements. Bobcat Bonnie's is expected to open by mid- to late-summer following renovations. Eater has reached out to Buskard for more details.
