ROYAL OAK — Mesa Tacos & Tequila received a new sign this week. The restaurant recently began hiring for the summer season, according to a job posting. [Craigslist]

FERNDALE — GreenSpace Café continues to build-out. The restaurant posted pictures of its L-shaped wood bar on May 8. Expect an opening sometime in June. [Facebook]

DOWNTOWN — Chef Kate Williams may be leaving both G.A.R. Building projects, but the owners are moving ahead with plans at Parks & Rec. MIDTOWN — Don't expect a day to pass by without a new update from Chartreuse. Metro Times visited the restaurant during the soft opening and gives it a rave. "The pierogi were full of flavor, bursting with barbecue taste, and all hidden inside crispy, well-made Polish dumplingssss." [Metro Times]

ROYAL OAK — Demolition is in full-swing at the former Oxford Inn, which will soon house a Diamond Jim Brady's. Since late-April, workers have removed the exterior awnings on the building and begun tearing into the sidewalk. The restaurant will likely open this summer. [EaterWire]
