Birmingham's newest restaurant Triple Nickel will debut this evening from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. for dinner service. "We have very, very fresh fish, great steaks, and burgers that are moderately priced," Lynn Huffmaster, a representative for the restaurant. The menu designed by chef John Fleming (formerly of Sindbad's) also features lamb chops, pastas, crab cakes, and a Boston bibb salad.

Although they probably won't get much use in today's drizzle, the fully renovated, two-story restaurant offers several outdoor patios and decks with fireplaces. Huffmaster says the Nickel will keep soft opening hours Monday through Sunday for approximately two weeks before expanding into lunch service.
