The saga of Midtown's Fatburger continues. The lone Detroit franchise has struggled since opening in 2013 and shuttered indefinitely in February, with signs on the door indicating the franchisee owed a large sum of money. Now, an Eater tipster sends word that the lights are back on and a new owner is preparing to reopen the ill-fated eatery. Listed phone numbers for the restaurant are disconnected. Stay tuned for a reopening date.
Update, 4/7, 7:56 a.m.: A representative for Fatburger confirms the restaurant will reopen in late April.
