Bailout Productions is teaming with Chartreuse Kitchen & Cocktails for the Third Annual Whiskey Rebellion from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on May 11. The event will be hosted at the hotly anticipated restaurant and features kegged cocktails, craft beer, "light fare" from chef Doug Hewitt Jr., and live music by The Jug Band and Shine on Kentucky Moon. For many it will be the first opportunity to check out the completed Midtown restaurant located across from the Detroit Institute of Arts. Cover is $5. Chartreuse has yet to release an opening date but is expected to debut sometime next month.
