BIRMINGHAM — The Detroit Free Press reports that Triple Nickel is on track to debut Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with an "open house hors d'oeuvres reception and cash bar." The Tavern on South Old Woodward will feature a menu designed by chef John Fleming, formerly of Sinbad's, with surf-and-turf fare.

NEW CENTER — Café Con Leche Nord is much more visible now thanks to a new sign. The Grand Boulevard opened in late December for weekday service.

DOWNTOWN — The folks at Bon Bon Bon are kicking into high gear on the new Dime Building location. This week they completed shelving for the shop.

WEST VILLAGE — Without an oven there could be no pie. Luckily Sister Pie received their very own shiny Blodgett oven today. The shop is on track to open this month.

DOWNTOWN — Townhouse hosted a preview dinner at Revolver last night featuring chefs Michael Barrera of the Birmingham restaurant and Brennan Calnin of Townhouse Detroit. Check out some of the photos from the event on the restaurant's Instagram.
