Plenty of pizza chains (Domino's, Jet's, Little Caesar's, etc.) got their start in Southeast Michigan, but burger chains are another matter. Most are mini-chains with no plans for expansion anytime soon. Here's a rundown of 6 Southeast Michigan burger chains.

Bate's Burgers

Menu: Think simple and inexpensive. At Bates a standard burger is $1.28 or you can grab six for $7.02. Find breakfast on the menu as well as chili, Coneys, and shakes.

Menu: Bagger Dave's 8-oz. cheeseburger is $7.25, while their most expensive signature burger is $10.25. Diners also have the option of creating their own by selecting a protein, bun, cheese, sauce, and toppings.

Menu: Hunter House claims to have created the original slider, and while that's always a questionable declaration their menu does offer oodles of tiny burgs'.
