Revisit long lost tiki bars Mauna Loa, Chin Tiki, and Trader Vic's with a free tour led by expert Rebecca Savage on April 18 or check out brunch at Zenith. Find throwback specials and Happy Hour deals through the week at some of Detroit's best bars. On April 21, Centaur Bar is inviting participants to sip $5 martinis while taking in a black and white film. Likewise, Art Deco dining spot Cliff Bell's is offering 50-cent pints of PBR beginning at 4 p.m. on April 23. Meanwhile at the Detroit Historical Museum senior curator Joel Stone will be discussing many of Detroit's former hot spots including Pontchartrain Wine Cellars, Hotel Gotham, Flame Show Bar, and London Chop House. Many of the events are free although they require a quick RSVP.
