The crumbling Wurlitzer Building may soon receive a $21 million restoration. HM Ventures Group 6's vision for the rehab includes a 100-room hotel, "a street-level café and bar, second-floor restaurant and meeting space, and a roof-level lounge," writes The Detroit Free Press. The proposal still requires several more approvals before construction can begin, but it seems like a positive step for a building known for endangering the proprietor of the neighboring 1515 Broadway Café.
