A new brewery led by brothers Kris and Kevin Paul is set to debut in St. Clair over Memorial Day weekend. War Water Brewery's facility located in the Riverview Plaza, will offer customers just a small taste of what's to come, Kris Paul tells the Port Huron Times Herald.

"This space is basically a glorified office," he says. "We are in the works to buy a large production facility to produce wholesale beer and to open a larger taproom connected to the facility."

Kevin Paul has experience opening Brockway Public House and Danny Boy Beer Works in Indiana. The pair will close on the larger facility and tasting room within 60 days and complete their buildout by July 2016. They plan to produce beer for War Water, the Danny Boy label, and other brands.

As far as the Riverview site is concerned, War Water will offer small-batch beers in a tasting room setting, The Voice reports. Customers will have the option of bringing in food from the outside. Stay tuned for more details.
