Birmingham’s Commonwealth Coffee Hitches a Ride to Ann Arbor’s Shinola Shop

Birmingham's trendy Commonwealth café is hitching a ride to Shinola's Ann Arbor shop this spring. The expansion-happy coffee bar partnered with the luxury watch and leather dog collar brand last fall to open a location inside Shinola's flagship Midtown storefront and is in the process of completing a build-out on their original café and restaurant. Menus haven't been finalized, co-owner Alexander Chisholm tells MLive, so expect more details closer to the shop's projected spring opening.
