Hold the Phone: Green Dot Stables Expanding to Malaysia

It's not April 1 yet, so this can't possibly be a joke. Green Dot Stables announced this evening via Facebook that the slider restaurant is expanding to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The restaurant will open April 15. Check out the post below.

Recently Eater reported that owner Jacques Driscoll was working on a new unnamed project in Mexicantown, but clearly he's busy with other openings. There's still a chance this could be an elaborate hoax. Eater is reaching out to Green Dot for further details.
