The plywood is down at the under renovation Mexicantown property at 2547 Bagley Street adjacent to Our/Detroit. The city building permit for the space is issued to Jacques Driscoll of Green Dot Stables and Johnny Noodle King. The permit allows for a "standard restaurant with on-site consumption" in the 2,381-square-foot space and indicates that it was issued on January 26. A peek through the windows reveals a partially complete bar/counter space. Eater reached out to Driscoll earlier this week for more details, although sources suggest he's not ready to reveal what's going into the space yet.
