Fans of breastaurants are in luck and everyone else is, well, out of luck. The Texas chain Twin Peaks is opening its first Michigan location tonight in Madison Heights, Crain's reports. Despite its name, the venue isn't likely to screen episodes for the cult classic television show by David Lynch; although the residents of that small town in Washington might feel comfortable inside the lodge-themed restaurant.
"We kind of like to describe this place as rugged mountain lodge meets beer commercial," general manager Cory Shedd tells Crain's.
The company evidently takes their beer temperatures very seriously. According to Shedd, Twin Peaks freezes their mugs to a nippy chilly 28 degrees for six hours. The restaurant, which features 58 flat screen TVs, opens at 5 p.m.
