The Oakland Rolls Out $5 Happy Hour Specials; Da Edoardo Foxtown's Renovated Space

HAPPY HOUR — The Oakland is rolling out a new set of Happy Hour and weekly specials. Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to The Oakland is offering up a rotating menu of between four and five craft cocktails for $5 each. Additionally, the bar is has discounted shot and beer pairings every Tuesday. "Expect pairings like a small-batch whiskey and amber ale, or a bottle of rare rye with a craft IPA," says Brittany Nance, a representative for the Ferndale bar. [EaterWire]

RENOVATION REPORT — Da Edoardo Foxtown reopened last month revealing a freshly renovated space. The restaurant now boasts cowhide-covered chairs, charcoal gray walls, and an updated, single-page menu with a prosciutto, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. [The Detroit News]
