A year after Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe exited Midtown, the vacant space may soon have new restaurant tenants. Crain's reports that American Community Developers Inc., which purchased the art deco building at 3100 Woodward Avenue in October, is planning to turned the 8,000-square-foot space into one or possibly two new restaurants by this summer.
"Once we select the right concept and owner/operator, we are convinced that the location and the 1920s Art Deco style of the building will make the restaurant an iconic destination that will rival recently opened restaurants," Mike Essian, vice president of ACD tells the magazine.
