The latest addition to Shinola's Canfield Street complex, Fellow Barber, is opening Monday, but the Brooklyn-based company isn't stopping there. The 1,800-square-foot space will eventually house a bar overlooking the street, according to Jenna Wos of DBusiness Daily News.
"It will be a nice amenity for folks who are waiting, if they want to have a beer or come in and have a cocktail afterwards," says Fellow Barber's William Tigertt.
The company is still in the very early stages of planning the addition, so designs and seating counts aren't available. Customers at the men's barbershop won't be strapped for options when it comes to grabbing a quick drink or a coffee. Commonwealth and Drought are already situated in neighboring storefronts and Jolly Pumpkin is scheduled to open its doors later this year.
