Watch Bar Owner Larry Mongo's Cameo Appearance in Ryan Gosling's Film 'Lost River'

The trailer for Ryan Gosling's directorial debut film, Lost River, was released this week and features footage of Detroit's Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects and a cameo appearance by Larry Mongo of Café D'Mongo's Speakeasy. Gosling was known to frequent the bar during his 2013 stay in Detroit. "He asked me if I wanted to be in the movie, and I told him yes." Mongo told MLive. The film is scheduled to release in April.
