Students weren't the only Detroiters with the day off due to Winter Storm Linus's mounds of blowing snow. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and bakeries are playing it safe and keeping workers off the streets. Terrible road conditions are one reason to kick back at home today, but for those who do plan on venturing out on foot or in a horsepower drawn sleigh here's a list of places that are closed or opening late today.

Run a restaurant or bar? Tweet your snow day status with the hashtag #ClosedInDET or drop us a note at the tip line.
