Popular Dearborn sweet shop Iversen's Bakery is preparing to move locations. The last day in business at its current Michigan Avenue location will be Saturday, February 28; Iversen's will reopen Tuesday, March 3 at 9 a.m. at 22041 Outer Drive.
The new location is actually not so new; Iversen's was located at the very same Outer Drive building it's preparing to move to now until late 2012, when it relocated to Michigan Avenue. The bakery is a popular source for special occasion cakes, which it offers in a whopping 67 different flavors; they also make cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and of course, paczki for Fat Tuesday, all made with real butter.
