Hamtramck chocolatier and Wanka-esque "twisted genius" Alexandra Clark is taking Bon Bon Bon downtown to the Chrysler House (home to Dime Store and Kabob Grille), she tells WDIV.
"It's 400-square-feet. It's itty bitty. It's really tiny, but the location is great, so if you're downtown it's just steps away from Campus Martius, it's close to Cobo, it'll be perfect."
Clark, who originally started her career studying the economics of chocolate, opened her Evaline Street location last July. Since then, her creative flavors and clever packaging have caught the attention Martha Stewart and Vanity Fair. Clark is currently caught up in the Valentine's-Paczki Day rush. The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Black Saturday for last-minute Valentine's Day bon bon purchases and on Paczki Day.
