Bigalora Sets Launch Date in DTW; Bucharest Dangerously Close to Opening Third Location

MILWAUKEE-JUNCTION — Bucharest is dangerously close to flinging open the doors of its third shawarma outpost. Though the company hasn't officially announced a date, it's doing a major social media push teasing the restaurant. On-site, the restaurant has signage, tables, chairs, and a POS system. [EaterWire]

WOODBRIDGE — The pizza-making wizards from Pie-Sci finally now have floors in their forthcoming restaurant. Next up: dealing with leveling and grading to backyard. [Facebook]

CLAWSON — Woodpile BBQ Shack is already offering limited service, but contractors are ready to wrap-up the final details for the restaurant build-out. Meanwhile, the pitmaster Steve "Bubba" Coddington is on the hunt for a kitchen staff. [Facebook]

FERNDALE — Great Lakes-inspired bar, restaurants, and music venue Otus Supply now has butcher paper-covered windows and a fresh coat of black paint. The venue is expected to open by the end of the year. [EaterWire]

ROMULUS — The Detroit Metropolitan Airport's new Bigalora location is nearly complete based on interior photos posted by design firm Saroki Architecture. The restaurant is set to take off December 11. Another Biga is headed to Rochester Hills in March and co-owner Luciano DelSignore confirms that he's in negotiations to bring a full-sized eatery to Detroit next year. [Facebook/Metro Times]
