Rubbed in Corktown reopens today with a slightly tweaked look, a new menu, and an updated format. Photographers Chris and Michelle Gerard took a brief tour of the updates this week ahead of the relaunch. The changes to the restaurant are subtle, mainly new wooden tables and mismatched chairs with leather cushions (see the original look here) that are meant to accommodate the new dine-in table service format.
Frenkel tells Eater that the dinner menu (beginning next Thursday) will offer steak, chicken, seafood, pastas, and soups. Check out the revised bill of fare for lunch below.
Rubbed's new hours are Tuesday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Dinner service runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
