MIDTOWN — Northern United Brewing Co., makers of Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, has a stake in Seoul-based brewery Playground. CFO and CEO Taylor Grant says that Playground will carry Jolly Pumpkin beers, in addition to the ones brewed there. The new South Korean brewery opens today. [Crain's]

EASTERN MARKET — Eastern Market wants to increase its borders to allow the resident wholesalers, processors, and distributors to expand. The nonprofit organization that runs the property, Eastern Market Corp., wants to keep the mostly food businesses in place, but won't be able to hold on to them if they can't give them more room.
