Brix wine bar isn't the only food and beverage-focused tenant headed for West Village's refurbished bank building. ModelD reports that the Kercheval Avenue property will also house a sushi bar called Sushi Ono. Few other details are provided regarding the restaurant. Eater has reached out to the property management company Banyan for more information.

Could West Village be 2016's hottest restaurant neighborhood? It's looking like a strong contender. In addition to the bank building developments, the area is expected to welcome new American restaurant Geiger Eat Shop and New Orleans-inspired Gabriel Hall within the next year.
