Parade goers and Turkey Trotters can check out Capitol Park's latest addition today during its soft opening. Dessert Oasis Coffee is now dispensing caffeine in its new downtown digs. In addition to small batch-roasted coffee, Dessert Oasis serves up a variety of sweet treats from cheesecake to crepes. In July, co-owner Nathan Hamood told Eater the shop would also host live music events. This is the second location for Dessert Oasis. The shop opened its flagship Rochester store in 2009. The cafe features plenty of open space and an industrial look accented by flags and rugs. Customers will find plenty of seating options from four tops to window-side bars all arranged around the coffee counter. Feast your eyes on Dessert Oasis in the gallery above.

Dessert Oasis opens for regular hours Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
