Birmingham's Forest opens tonight to the public. The restaurant headed by chef Nick Janutol features a Mediterranean-influenced menu with plenty of seafood in the mix. In addition to a revamped menu, Forest features a new look with a wine cellar and glassed-in kitchen. New owner Samy Eid plans to replace the current windows with folding nana windows this spring. Forest is accepting reservations at 248-258-9400.
Forest's hours are Monday through Thursday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 5 p..m. to 11 p.m.
