The Detroit Zen Center's shuttered café and co-op is making a comeback this weekend. The underrated vegetarian restaurant closed its doors indefinitely in more than a year ago, citing "lack of interest" from the community. However, on November 6 the Hamtramck-based organization announced the restaurant's grand reopening via Facebook. According to the post, the space has undergone reorganization and will feature a revamped menu and a new tea house. The opening event is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 14.
Detroit Zen Center Café's will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
